I purchased this gown from The Glamour Closet in West Hollywood, which specializes in designer-only runway samples worn at bridal shows. Let's just say that the "other" dress was an Oscar de la Renta, but the Alvina Valenta won out in a landslide vote. Once I was zipped in, I fell in love and my bridal party was all gasps and tears! It feels great on; flattering neckline, lightweight, fun, fresh and a beautiful fit!
The dress is fresh from a specialty bridal gown cleaner (thus bodice stuffed lovingly with tissue paper to maintain shape) after my October wedding and is in spectacular condition! There are very light signs of wear, such as a tiny hole and nearly invisible stain near the hem of the skirt. These were both here prior to my purchase and are barely visible -- definitely not deal-breakers.
