Congratulations on your engagement! Right away when I started dress shopping I noticed it's difficult to find a really nice wedding dress that is elegant and classy but still unique from what every other bride wears. I fell in love with this designer, Alvina Valenta, and this dress when I first witnessed it in Brides magazine. In December of 2014 I committed and I ordered this gown from NYC to my home in Washington state, and it arrived in spring of 2015. The transaction was made through a small but amazing hidden gem of a wedding dress boutique that is the only company in all of Washington state that could get this gown for me. In person fell even more in love with this romantic yet modern silhouette, so stunning I have never seen another dress in person like it. But the low back and edge flounced skirt were the winning pieces to me in this dress; everything else was added beauty perks, such as the horsehair edging and antique tulle. Also, please look closely at the third photo in, the hand beaded detail over sheer lace embroidery, this stunning matching detail is also on the low back. However, when I ordered this dress I equally loved another Alvina Valenta. Ultimately I became the bride that ordered and paid for two wedding gowns. This became a really tough decision for me in choosing between the two. I do not need two gowns as I am only having one wedding. I knew after purchasing two gowns I would need to sell one, and that is a decision I made. I wanted to secure both gowns selfishly for myself and be given the luxury of deciding for myself. I feel very fortunate that I was able to do this. Will fit a size 4-6 in street American sizing, but label is a size 8; this is standard with this designer. This dress has only been tried on once by myself, never altered, and still with original packaging and tags from Alvina Valenta!
