Brand new, never before worn or altered wedding gown from renowned Israeli designer Lihi Hod. Hand-made in Tel Aviv, the gown features a fitted corset with the most delicate floral appliqué and beading at the bodice. The skirt is made of layers of silk tulle (including a subtle Swiss dot layer underneath - an exquisite detail that catches the eye when the dress moves!), which is extremely light and airy, and gives the gown an ethereal feel. Features a longer train that may be altered as you see fit. Wear as-is or with a petticoat underneath for added volume.
The gown has never been worn or altered. It is a European size 38 (American size 8), so can be altered to fit a wide spectrum of sizes. I am a size 00 and the associate at the bridal salon assured me I would be able to have it altered to fit me perfectly when I purchased the gown. For reference, the gown is shown clipped to size on me in the photos.
The gown comes with the detachable sash (seen in the photographs). It can be styled in a variety of ways - tied across the chest, as a belt at the waist, or you can create sleeves out of the dress (to be sewn in with your alterations). Or, you may wish to wear the dress without the sash and instead have your seamstress incorporate some of the delicate floral pattern from the sash onto your veil for a perfect match. The possibilities are truly endless! Also included is the original Lihi Hod garment bag, together with the sturdy white wooden hanger that came with the gown.
