This dress was purchased at a sample sale. The beading on the top is silver and pearl and is very high quality. When your arms rest against the beading, it does not scrape or itch like it does with lower quality dresses (such as Maggie Sottero). The skirt is blush with some sparkle in the under layers. I couldn't catch the sparkle in the photos but it is enough to catch the light, not enough to be tacky. Some of the pictures show sash tied around the waist. This does not come with the dress, it is something I tried on at the bridal store. My intention was to wear this at an outdoor summer wedding and the fit and fabric are perfectly suited for that. Some layers in the skirt could even be removed or a hoop skirt worn underneath for better air flow.
Being a sample, some of the beading is loose and needs to be tightened (pictured). There are a couple of spots where beads are missing and I do not have extra beads for it. Also, some parts of the skirt are snagged where it caught on the beading. I was assured that a seamstress would be able to repair the skirt by pulling up the fabric. The dress does have a train. One of the pictures shows how it would look after having a bustle put in.
The best thing about this dress is that it is $5000 quality at a $800 price tag. Also, it is not yet altered so it can be fit exactly to your body. I bought this dress in spring 2016, although it is from a 2014 collection. I can provide a copy of the original receipt upon request.
