I took great care in wearing my dress, and although my wedding was outdoors and it was purchased used, the lace remains in excellent condition. The dress was professionally cleaned immediately after the wedding and the detailed photos show the hemline and lace post-cleaning. The lace was actually cleaner after I paid to have it cleaned than how I received the dress. Full disclosure: there is very, very minuscule discoloration of the lace only on the bottom 1/2" of hemline of the back of the dress. It is seriously not noticeable or worth worrying about.
